About NPPAN

Who we are?

The National Palm Produce Association of Nigeria (NPPAN) as an Association was registered as with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on the 22nd May, 1995 with certificate number 271,945.

The founding members in about twenty-five (25) years ago saw the need for an umbrella body that would cater for all and sundry as regards to the palm tree business, from nursery development, cultivation, production, sale, marketing, research and development etc.

Our objectives

To bring together all those who are involved in the cultivation, production, research, processing, marketing, sale, purchase and development of palm produce in Nigeria.

FOCUS APPROACH

Provision of standard and functional National/State/Local Government Areas Headquarters of the Association.

MEMBERSHIP

Registered palm produce millers, marketers, nursery operators, crushers, growers, processors, importer, exporter of palm produces and byproducts commodities.

AFFILIATE NETWORK

We have access to and experience with top Oil Palm companies, Federal/State/Local Government, Agencies, non-government organizations, (NGO) and potential investors.

We of the National Palm Produce Association of Nigeria (NPPAN),

represents the smallholders’ farmers/producers and we also cultivate and produce about 80% of the total production of oil palm and its derivatives in Nigeria. Production comes from dispersed smallholders who harvest semi-wild plants and use manual processing techniques. Several million smallholders are spread over an estimated area of 3 million hectares.
